International Language Print Capability (ILPC)
Programming Examples
ILPC (if equipped) allows the printing of non-English character sets, available with
European language support (CG TIMES), KANJI language support, Chinese language
support (SIMPLIFIED GB) and Korean Hangul.
All of the features are embedded in the printer resident firmware and accessible
through DPL thus eliminating excessive download time of bitmapped characters.
Using scalable technology licensed from AGFA, this firmware allows users to print
smooth characters in sizes from 4pt (1.4 mm) to 999pt (350 mm) in over 40
languages.
ILPC - CG® TIMES
The CG Times is a single-byte scalable font consisting of four typefaces in 38 Western
European languages. This contains over 900 unique characters in each of the four
typefaces from the CG Times typeface family, Normal, Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic.
Single-byte scalable fonts are selected using a print format record. See Barcodes and
