Huawei Quidway S9300

In general, each route is assigned a label (one label per route). When a large number of routes
exist, the Incoming Label Map (ILM) needs to maintain a great deal of in-segment entries. This
affects the capacity of the device.
The S9300 can allocate MPLS labels based on VPN instances, that is, allocate a label to each
VPN instance. All the routes in the VPN instance use the same label.

3.3.6 Checking the Configuration
Prerequisite
The configurations of the VPN instance are complete.
Procedure
l Run the display ip vpn-instance verbose vpn-instance-name command to view the details
about the specified VPN instance.
l Run the display ip vpn-instance vpn-instance-name command to view the brief
information about the specified VPN instance.

Example
After the configuration, run the display ip vpn-instance command, and you can see the brief
information about the VPN instance created on the local device, including the RD and creation
date. The following is an example:

By running the display ip vpn-instance verbose command, you can see the detailed information
of the VPN instance created on the local device.
