Interface Name : Vlanif10
State : up
Run the display vsi remote ldp [ route-id ip-address ] [ pw-id pw-id ] command, and you can
view information about remote VSIs using LDP as signaling. For example:
<Quidway> display vsi remote ldp
Vsi Peer VC Group Encap MTU Vsi
ID RouterID Label ID Type Value Index
2 3.3.3.9 23552 0 vlan 1500 0
Run the display vpls connection [ ldp | vsi vsi-name ] [ down | up ] [ verbose ] command, and
you can find that VSI State is up. If verbose is set, Signaling is ldp, VC State is up, and label
distribution is complete. For example:
<Quidway> display vpls connection ldp verbose
VSI Name: a2 Signaling: ldp
**Remote Vsi ID : 2
VC State : up
Encapsulation : vlan
Group ID : 0
MTU : 1500
Peer Ip Address : 3.3.3.9
PW Type : label
Local VC Label : 23552
Remote VC Label : 23552

6.5 Configuring LDP HVPLS
This section describes how to configure LDP HVPLS.
6.5.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
6.5.2 Configuring SPEs
6.5.3 Configuring UPEs
6.5.4 Checking the Configuration
6.5.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
Applicable Environment
If there are a large number of VPLS PEs, you can adopt the hierarchical VPLS (HVPLS)
networking scheme to reduce the performance requirements on the PEs.
Pre-configuration Tasks
Before configuring LDP HVPLS, complete the following tasks:
l Configuring Martini VPLS between SPEs and PEs
l Establishing the MPLS LDP peer relationship between UPEs and SPEs
l Creating a VSI on an SPE, and specifying the lower-layer PE to be the UPE of the VSI
l Creating a VSI instance on a UPE, and specifying the SPE as the peer of the VSI
