5.4.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
Applicable Environment
A static PW does not use signaling protocols to transmit L2VPN packets. The packets are
transmitted over the tunnel between PEs.
A static PW supports the tunnel types of static LSP, LDP LSPs, and CR-LSPs. By default, an
LDP LSP is adopted.
Pre-configuration Tasks
Before configuring a static PW, complete the following tasks:
l Configuring IGP on the PEs and P of the MPLS backbone network to realize the IP
connectivity of the backbone network
l Enabling MPLS on PEs
l Establishing the tunnel of a corresponding type between PEs according to the tunnel policy
Data Preparation
To configure a static PW, you need the following data.
No.
Data
1 Type and number of the interface connected to the CE
2 Destination LSR ID of a static PW
3 In-label and out-label of the L2VPN connection
4 Name of a tunnel policy for a static PW
5.4.2 Enabling MPLS L2VPN
Context
Before configuring an MPLS L2VC, you must enable MPLS L2VPN.
Do as follows on the PEs at both ends of a PW.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view of the PE is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
