1.4 Configuring the Tunnel Policy Applied to L3VPN
(Select-Sequence)
This section describes how to configure the tunnel policy in select-sequence mode and how to
apply the policy to the L3VPN.
1.4.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
1.4.2 Configuring the Tunnel Policy
1.4.3 Applying the Tunnel Policy on L3VPN
1.4.4 Checking the Configuration
1.4.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
Applicable Environment
By default, the S9300 selects LSPs for a VPN and load balancing is not performed. If load
balancing or other types of tunnels are required, you need to configure a tunnel policy and bind
the tunnel policy to a tunnel.
For L3VPNs, tunnel policies are applied to VPN instances.
The tunnel policy in select-sequence mode includes the policy for selecting tunnels and the
number of tunnels carrying out load balancing. In practical scenarios, tunnel policies are valid
in the same Autonomous System (AS).
