3.5.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
Applicable Environment
If a center access control device is configured on the VPN, the users on the VPN can access each
other through this device. To configure a center access control device, you can deploy the
Hub&Spoke networking. Then, the communication data between the Spoke sites traverses the
Hub sites.
Pre-configuration Tasks
Before configuring the Hub&Spoke, complete the following tasks:
l Configuring IGP on the P and PE on the MPLS backbone network to implement IP
connectivity
l Configuring basic MPLS functions on the P and PE on the MPLS backbone network
l Configuring IP addresses of the interfaces connecting CE to PE
Data Preparation
To configure the Hub&Spoke, you need the following data.
