4.4.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
4.4.2 Enabling MPLS L2VPN
4.4.3 Creating an SVC VLL Connection
4.4.4 Checking the Configuration
4.4.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
Applicable Environment
The procedure for configuring the out-label (public network tunnel) of the SVC VLL is the same
as the procedure for configuring the out-label of the Martini VLL. The in-label is manually
specified during the VC configuration, without the signaling transmission of the VC label.
The SVC VLL does not use signaling protocols to transmit L2VPN information. Packets are
exchanged between the PEs through tunnels.
The SVC VLL supports multiple types of tunnels such as LDP LSP and CR-LSP. By default,
the LDP LSP tunnel is used.
Pre-configuration Tasks
Before configuring an SVC VLL, complete the following tasks:
l Configuring the static routes or an IGP protocol on PE and P on the MPLS backbone
network to implement IP connectivity
l Configuring the basic MPLS capability on PE
l Establishing the tunnel of a corresponding type between PEs according to the tunnel policy
Data Preparation
To configure an SVC VLL, you need the following data.
No.
Data
1 Destination LSR ID of an SVC
2 In-label and out-label values of the L2VPN connection
3 Tunnel policy of an SVC
4.4.2 Enabling MPLS L2VPN
Context
Do as follows on the PEs on the two ends of the VC.
