Step 2 Run:
tunnel-policy policy-name
A tunnel policy is created and the tunnel policy view is displayed.
A tunnel policy corresponds to only one tunnel selection mode. If multiple tunnel selection
modes are required, you need to create multiple tunnel policies.
A tunnel policy can be applied to only one VC. Multiple VCs, however, can share one tunnel
policy.
Step 3 Run:
tunnel select-seq { gre | lsp | cr-lsp }

The select-sequence mode and number of tunnels carrying out load balancing are set.
If no tunnel policy is configured for an L2VPN, an LSP is used as the tunnel of the VPN and
only one tunnel is used.
In a tunnel policy, tunnels are selected in sequence. If the tunnel with the highest priority is UP,
it is selected regardless of whether other services have selected it. The tunnels with lower
priorities are not selected except in case of load balancing or when the tunnel with the highest
priority is in DOWN state. For example, after the tunnel select-seq cr-lsp lsp load-balance-
number 1 command is run and no CR-LSP is available, the VPN uses the LSP; after the CR-
LSP is created, the VPN uses the CR-LSP and does not use the LSP any more.
The number of tunnels carrying out load balancing is subject to licenses.

Context
Select one of the following configurations according to the type of an L2VPN:
l VLL in SVC mode
l VLL in Martini Mode
l VLL in Kompella Mode
l PWE3
Procedure
l VLL in SVC mode
Do as follows on the PEs configured with VCs.
1. Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2. Run:
interface vlanif vlan-id
The AC interface view is displayed.
