Example
Regarding the requirements of service management such as service commissioning and service
suspension, you can temporarily shut down a VSI, and then add, delete or adjust the VSI function.
The shutdown command affects PW connections in a VSI. After the command is run, the AC
is Administratively Down and the Layer 2 forwarding table is deleted.
6.10.6 Clearing MAC Address Entries
Context
CAUTION
After MAC address entries are cleared, the entries cannot be restored. So, confirm the action
before you clear the entries.
Procedure
l Run the undo mac-address mac-address vsi vsi-name command to clear the MAC address
entries in a VSI.
l Run the undo mac-address { dynamic | static | blackhole | all } command to clear the
dynamic, static, blackhole, or all the MAC address entries.
