Step 3 Run:

The interface is bound to the VPN instance.
NOTE
The ip binding vpn-instance command deletes Layer 3 features such as the IP address and routing
protocols configured on the interface. To use these features, you need to reconfigure them.
Step 4 Run:
ip address ip-address { mask | mask-length }
The IP address of the interface is set.

3.4.4 Configuring Routing Exchange Between PEs
Context
Do as follows on the PE connected with CE.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
bgp as-number
The BGP view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
peer peer-address as-number as-number
The remote PE is configured as the BGP peer.
Step 4 Run:
peer peer-address connect-interface loopback interface-number
The interfaces for establishing the TCP sessions are configured.
NOTE
The loopback interface address with a 32-bit mask is recommended to establish the MP-IBGP peer relations
between the PEs. Otherwise, the packets may fail to find the proper route because of route aggregation.
The route to the loopback interface is advertised to the remote PE through IGP on the MPLS backbone
network.
Step 5 Run:
ipv4-family vpnv4
The BGP VPNv4 address family view is displayed.
Step 6 Run:
peer peer-address enable
