l Establishing MP-IBGP connections with the peer group
Add all client PEs to a peer group and set up an MP-IBGP connection with the peer group.
1. Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2. Run:
bgp as-number
The BGP view is displayed.
3. Run:
group group-name [ internal ]
An IBGP peer group is created.
4. Run:
peer ip-address group group-name
The peer is added to the peer group.
5. Run:
peer group-name connect-interface interface-type interface-number
The interface for establishing the TCP connection is configured. The IP address of the
interface must be the same as the MPLS LSR ID. It is recommended that you specify
a loopback interface to establish the TCP connection.
6. Run:
l2vpn-family
The BGP L2VPN sub-address family view is displayed.
7. Run:
peer group-name enable
The function of exchanging BGP VPNv4 routes with the peer group is enabled.
8. Run:
peer ip-address group group-name
The peer is added to the peer group.
l Configuring BGP L2VPN RR
Do as follows on the RR.
1. Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2. Run:
bgp as-number
The BGP view is displayed.
3. Run:
l2vpn-family
The BGP L2VPN sub-address family view is displayed.
