3. SP MODE TABLES (COMMON FOR BOTH MF
MODEL AND PRINTER MODEL)
3.1 REMARKS
The maximum number of characters on the control panel screen is limited to 30. For this reason,
some of the SP modes shown on the screen have been abbreviated. The following are
abbreviations used for the SP modes for which the full description is over 20 characters.

3.1.1 OTHERS
The settings of each SP mode are explained in the right-hand column of the SP table in the
following way.
[Adjustable range / Default setting / Step] Alphanumeric
• If "Alphanumeric" is written to the right of the bracket as shown above, the setting of
the SP mode shows on the screen using alphanumeric characters instead of only
numbers. However, the settings in the bracket in the SP mode table are explained by
using only the numbers.
The following symbols are used in the SP mode tables.
