In the case of storage in transit over 6months, special arrangements must be made for
preservation. Contact the Technical Support.
Store the gearbox or geared motor in dry, dust-free rooms that are maintained at a constant
temperature.
The storage location must be vibration- and shock-free.
The free shaft ends, sealing elements and 󹪞ange surfaces must have a protective coating.
Do not store the geared motor on the fan cover.
Storage up to 36months (optional)
Store the gearbox or geared motor in dry, dust-free rooms that are maintained at a constant
temperature. Special packing is then not necessary.
If such premises are not available, pack the gearbox or the geared motor in plastic 󹪝lm or
air-tight sealed 󹪝lm and materials. The 󹪝lms and materials must be able to absorb moisture.
Cover them to provide protection against heat, direct sunlight and rain.
The permissible ambient temperature is -25°C to +50°C.
The life of the corrosion protection is 36months from delivery.
12.2.8 Installation conditions for the motor
NOTICE
Risk of overheating due to insu󹪟cient cooling
Protect intake and discharge openings against blockages and coarse dust.
The cooling air must 󹪞ow unimpeded into the air intakes and 󹪞ow out through the air outlets.
Exhaust air should not be drawn back in again.
