To shut down an Ethernet Switched Port Analyzer (SPAN) session, use the shut command. To enable a
SPAN session, use the no form of this command.
shut
no shut
Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults None

Examples This example shows how to shut down a SPAN session:
switch(config)# monitor session 1
