Example
To enable IGMP Access Control for all ports:
DGS-3000-26TC:admin#config igmp access_authentication ports all state enable
Command: config igmp access_authentication ports all state enable

config router_ports 38-5
Description
This command is used to designate a range of ports as being connected to multicast-enabled
routers. This will ensure that all packets with such a router as its destination will reach the
multicast-enabled router, regardless of protocol, etc.
Format
config router_ports [<vlan_name 32> | vlanid <vlanid_list> ] [add | delete] <portlist>
Parameters
<vlan_name 32> - Enter the name of the VLAN on which the router port resides.
vlanid - Specify the ID of the VLAN on which the router port resides.
<vlanid_list> - Enter the VLAN ID here.
add - Specify to add the router ports.
delete - Specify to delete the router ports.
<portlist> - Enter a range of ports to be configured.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
To set up static router ports:
DGS-3000-26TC:admin#config router_ports default add 1-10
Command: config router_ports default add 1-10
Success.
DGS-3000-26TC:admin#
config router_ports_forbidden 38-6
Description
This command is used to designate a range of ports as being not connected to multicast-enabled
routers. This ensures that the forbidden router port will not propagate routing packets out.
