Important Warnings and Cautions
Observe all warnings in the text or on equipment labels regarding high-voltage or high-temperature condions. The following warnings
and gures apply to most Fujitsu products.
Plug-in Unit Cauons
Observe the following precauons when handling plug-in units:
■ Hold the plug-in unit only by its edges.
■ Slowly and rmly push a plug-in unit into its slot to avoid damaging the unit. Do not force the unit. A slow inseron method minimizes
power surges during installaon. The longer ground connector pins ensure the ground circuit is connected rst.
ESD Cauons
Units are stamped with an-electrostac markings (shown at right). Observe the following precauons to avoid damage from ESD:
■ Always transport and store the unit in an ESD approved shipping bag.
■ Always wear an ESD wrist strap, with a minimum 1-megohm resistance, that is connected to safety ground. Do not use a damaged
wrist strap.

Fiber Warnings Averssements de Fibre
Danger: Never handle exposed ber with bare hands or touch it to
bare skin. Fiber fragments can enter the skin and are dicult to
detect and remove. Follow local safety precauons regarding ber.
