For some med parameters, Threshold Crossing Alerts (TCAs) are generated when the PM count exceeds a
preset threshold. For other med parameters, thresholds are not supported, and these registers can hold up to

–1 counts before automacally rolling back to a value of 1 when the maximum count is exceeded.
The current med registers store the number of events within their specied me limits and forward that
informaon to the rst previous register before they are inialized, for example, informaon from the rst
previous register is passed on to the second previous register and informaon from the second previous register
is passed on to the third previous register. Informaon from the last previous register is discarded.
