The user channel LEDs are hardware controlled similar to Local Management Port (LMP). Provisioning is not
required to enable user channel. Autonegoaon adversement for user channel ports is 10 Mb full/half and
MDIX occurs during autonegoaon. User channel supports IP MTU of a maximum value of 1500 bytes.
The following gure shows an example of user channel between ROADM and ROADM Ethernet connecons.
