Assumptions and pre settings for this example:
The JET3up printer is used for continuously printing on a cable
emerging from a cable extruder de
vice. The cable extruder mustn’t stop
even if the printout fails. After a print interruption the printout
continue with the correct meter number.
For this application an encoder is used for speed measuring and
position detection. The printout is carried out each meter and shows
the current number of meters.
Additionally a length measuring system has to provide a PrintGo signal
after each meter.
These settings for the so called “meter counter” are shown in Picture
13.

Picture 14 shows the JET3up editor with the counter object and the
settings for the counter object in this example. The text object for the
letter “m” is just a standard object without any special settings for this
example.
