Figure 6.52: Left Side of Auger
8. Place new bolt-on flighting (A) outboard of existing
flighting (B) on the left side of the auger, as shown.
9. Secure with two button head bolts (MD #135723) and nuts
(MD #135799) at locations (C).
IMPORTANT:
Ensure bolt heads are on the inboard (crop side) and nuts
are on the outboard side of the flighting.

10. Stretch flighting (A) to fit auger tube as shown. Use slotted
holes on flighting to get the best fit around the auger tube.

11. With flighting in desired position, mark hole locations (A)
and drill 11 mm (7/16 in.) holes in auger tube.
12. Remove nearest access cover(s). Retain for reinstallation.
13. Secure bolt-on flighting on newly drilled holes (A) using four
flange head bolts and nuts.
14. Repeat Step 2, page 196 to Step 13, page 197 for the other
flighting on the left side of the auger.
