Chapter 11: Running up Header
To run up the header, follow these steps:
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up or fall of a raised machine, always stop engine and remove
key before leaving the operators seat, and always engage safety props before going under the machine for any reason.
WARNING
Never start or move the machine until you are sure all bystanders have cleared the area.

1. Start combine and raise header fully.
2. Engage the safety props.
3. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from
the ignition.
4. Rotate latches (A) to unlock handles (B).
5. Hold pan (C) and rotate handles (B) to release pan. Lower
pan to expose draper.

6. Check and remove debris from pan (A) and draper.
