— When the thickness differential is greater than the %GROWTH value, a high
alarm is indicated.
Table 9 on page 120 shows the result for an example where both %LOSS is set to
20 % and % GROWTH is set to 5 %.
B‑SCAN
The B-scan alarm mode is similar to the standard alarm mode except that in the
B-scan alarm mode, lines are shown in the B-scan grid when the reference values
fall within the B-scan thickness range (see Figure 8-5 on page 121). In addition, the
alarms are operational as you review B-scan thicknesses in B-scan freeze review
mode.
