To set the alarm
1. From the measurement screen, press [SETUP MENU].
2. In the menu, select ALARM.
3. In the ALARM screen (see Figure 8-7 on page 123):
a) Set ALARM ENABLE to ON to activate the alarm function.
b) In ALARM MODE, select the desired alarm mode (STANDARD,
PREVIOUS THK [previous thickness], BSCAN, or REDUCTION RT
[reduction rate]).
The other parameters vary depending on the alarm mode selection.
The BSCAN option appears only when the B-scan mode is active (see “Using the
B-Scan” on page 144).
The REDUCTION RT option appears only when the active file is configured with the
FILE DATA MODE parameter set to REDUCTION RT (see “File Data Modes” on
page 182).
