• Look for traces of dirt and particles on the
outer surface of the old filter, indicating
possible leakage. If so, the leakage cause
should be investigated and solved.
• Unbox the new filter, inspect the inner sealing
surface for potential non-conformities; Do not
wipe the surface as it is factory sprayed with a
dry lubricant for an easier mounting.
Insert new filter by gently pushing it inside the filter
housing.
CAUTION
Avoid pushing it by its center; use both hands
and push on its outer rim until it is well seated.
(It should be exceeding the housing by around
2-1/2 inches as shown)

• Replace the filter cover and tighten the 4
plastic bolts using recommended torque
settings (as displayed on filter cover).
TORQUE: 10-15 lb-ft (14-20 Nm)

WARNING: The cover is not supposed to apply
pressure on the filter. If so, the filter needs to be
pushed further in the housing.
• Reset the restriction gage by pushing on the
right-hand side button.
