27. Make sure that backing plate is parallel to
structure before tightening hardware
28. Make sure that skid bar only touches slightly
bus structure at bottom. The door should not
move up when closing.

29. Check that the door swings freely and closes
properly.
DOOR RELEASE IN THE EVENT OF A LATCH
FAILURE
If the door release mechanism is damaged or
ceases to function for any reason, the door can
be released by removing these screws on the
fore wall of the fender side, in the water
circulation pump and heater compartment.
