When inserting prefabricated cables in the
cable carrier, do not pull the connector, as
this may damage the strain relief or cable
clamping.
Strain relief in a cable carrier
Lay the cables loosely in the carrier. They
must be free to move. The cables must be
free to move in particular in the bending radii
of the carrier. Observe the specified
minimal bending radii.
The cable fixings must be attached at both
ends at an appropriate distance away from
the end points of the moving parts in a dead
zone.
Cable routed in a cable carrier
When laying cables, comply with the instructions given by the cable carrier manufacturer.

Note
Additional fixing of the cable
If between the cable strain relief on the cable carrier and the terminal at the motor, part of the
cable is hanging loose or is not routed, we recommend that the cable is additionally fixed for
vibration load and with horizontal or vertical cable entries.
Also fix the cable where the motor is fixed so that machine vibrations are not transferred
to the connector.
