SiteLink® 3D for
Pocket-3D
SiteLink-3D is an advanced communications system for Machine
Control Grade Suite of products. It connects every aspect of the
jobsite – the machine operator in the field, the surveyors, the grade
checkers, and office personnel. The Site-Link Manager Software
manages the communications network and can only be used by
system administrators. Using Sitelink Manager software, the
administrator initially sets up each Pocket-3D user with an operator
name and specific activities and delays. Generally, Site-Link Manager
allows the system administrator to:
• Save all data sent by machines from the jobsite to a database
• Send data to all people on the jobsite, i.e., machine operator
survey crews, office personnel, etc., no need to use USB sticks.
• Communicate will all people on the jobsite via a messaging
system – no need to stop the machine before talking to the driver
in the field.
• Update design files and other data on the machine at the jobsite
with the latest points, lines, etc.
• View all machines and other survey crews and their position on
Pocket-3D to see what task they are currently working on –
increases safety and productivity
• Troubleshoot (remotely) from the office to insure that the
surveyor has the right files or if there are problems with the radio;
you can also view the controller and remotely talk to the survey
about any problems that arise.
• Receive real time support through the Topcon support group
• Receive GPS corrections over Sitelink
• Maintain historical data inside the database for safety and
security
