The Site-Link Network Connection
The Site-Link Manager Software manages the initial setup of the
computer system that manages the Site-Link 3D communications
network.
1. Press SetupSite-LinkNetwork Connection (Figure 2-60).

2. On the Site-Link Connection dialog box (Figure 2-61 on 
page 2-46), set the following parameters:
• Server name/port – Select a port ID address from the drop-
down menu or press the
• SiteID – display-only field that shows the name of the site.
– : press to display alphanumeric keyboard to enter
server address.
• Timeout (secs) – enter a time-out value.
• MachineID – enter a machine description.
• Status – shows if status is connected/disconnected to server.
• Ok – press to accept selections and return to the Main Screen.
• Cancel – press to quit without saving changes and return to
the Main Screen.
