For Telnet connection, you should also configure the Telnet login mode and login authentication
information through console connection.
Telnet login has the following two modes. You can choose one according to your needs:
Nqikp"nqecn"Oqfg:"It requires username and password, which are both cfokp"by default.
Nqikp"Oqfg: It doesn’t require username and password, but a connection password is required.
Before Telnet login, you are required to configure Telnet login mode and login authentication
information through console connection.

Firstly, configure the Telnet login mode as “nqikp" nqecn" in the prompted DOS screen shown in
Figure 1-2.
