Syntax *ESR?
Description Reads out the value of the Standard Event Status Register. Executing this command clears
the register value. (Query only)

Description Reads out the manufacturer, model number, serial number, and firmware version number
of the 4294A. (Query only)

Readout data is as follows:
{string 1} Manufacturer. HEWLETT-PACKARD is always read out.
{string 2} Model number. 4294A is always read out.
{string 3} 10-digit serial number (example: JP1KF00101).
{string 4} Firmware version number (example: 01.00).
