Floating Point Format
Figure 6-2 shows this format. Numbers are expressed with floating points. For
example, 1000 is expressed as “1.0E3.”

IEEE 32-bit floating point format (Form 2)
In this format, each number is expressed by four bytes. Therefore, data containing 201
measured values is 1,608 bytes long (two pieces of data per measurement point). Numbers
are transferred in the format shown in
Figure 6-3.
