o Improved: Center-click of joystick knobs now supported in the PFD function
menu as well as the MAP. Center click can now be used to pull up, set, and
sync (by holding) the PFD joystick functions menus (bugs, baro, CRS, etc.).
Press and hold time reduced for better UX.
o Improved: Audio alerts are suppressed for the first 5 seconds after SkyView
fully boots to allow for system stabilization.
Software changes in SkyView Software v7.0.1 (no documentation changes):
o Fixed: Bug that can cause SkyView to stop responding properly when an
ADS-B-based TFR is selected using the map pointer.
o Fixed: Ability to reliably save screenshots to an attached USB memory stick
by pressing buttons 2+7 simultaneously.
Software changes in SkyView Software v7.1 (no documentation changes):
o New: Support for European charts from PocketFMS.
o New: Support for European charts from Seattle Avionics (Note that Seattle
Avionics European charts have technically been supported since 7.0. Data
availability from Seattle Avionics is expected soon)
o Improved: Up timer now stops at 99:59 instead of rolling over to 00:00
o Improved: FOLLOW mode for chart viewer now defaults to on for airport
diagrams to aid situational awareness.
o Changed: Timer expiration is now a message, not a caution alert.
o Fixed: Follow mode on charts that have rotation applied to them now tracks
correctly.
o Fixed: Bearing pointers no longer displayed shown when a Garmin GNC 225
is tuned to a localizer Frequency.
Last revision of this manual that was printed and included with SkyView displays

Clarified 912 iS fuel pressure measurement requirements.
Added alternate sealing washer recommendation for oil temperature sensor.

Software changes in SkyView Software v10.0 (The New SkyView):
o New: Support for SkyView Touch (SV-D1000T).
o New: Support for SV-AP-PANEL dedicated autopilot control panel. Supports
speed-scheduling of its integrated two channel trim controller.
o New: Support for SV-KNOB-PANEL dedicated knob control panel.
o New: Enroute charts, including VFR, IFR LO and HI. US support via existing
Seattle Avionics Subscriptions at release. Support for other regions to
follow.
o New: Conventional analog “six-pack” display mode for primary flight
instruments to aid in transition training to glass cockpit displays.
o New: Dual engine monitoring support by using two SV-EMS-22X modules.
Note that each engine requires its own SkyView display.
o New: Monitor up to 28 total EGT and/or CHTs by using a second SV-EMS-
22X module. Enables full EGT/CHT support on 9 and 14 cylinder engines.
Note that this capability cannot be combined with the dual engine
monitoring support above. Unlike dual engine monitoring, this feature is
available on a single screen.
o New: Track line with time and distance markers on the map.
o New: Option to show a second row of text on Nearest Airport list with the
full name of the airport. Configure under MAP MENU > NEAREST LIST
OPTIONS > SHOW FULL AIRPORT NAME.
o New: Altitude Intercept Arc (AKA periwinkle plantain) depicts the location
that the aircraft will intercept the current altitude bug setting based on the
current flight path.
