updated for SV-GPS-2020 usage.
o Hex codes for US registered aircraft with “N”-prefixed registrations are now
computed automatically.
o When all position sources are lost, map page is still viewable.
o The displayed state of map layers such as enroute charts (sectionals, IFR
Lo/Hi) and terrain now remembered across power cycles and USB stick
removal/reinsertion.
o Aviation database, procedure charts, enroute charts, and airport diagram
expiration information is now more informative.
o PRESET button not displayed on fuel computer if that value is set to zero.
o Terrain Alert (PFD > MODE > TERR ALRT) setting now remembered across
power cycles.
o Unknown runway lengths now shown as “----FT” in the nearest airport list.
o Audio alerts for MESSAGE, CAUTION, and WARNING messages are now
filtered so that simultaneous alerts do not “stack” on top of each other to
create a long audible list.
Software changes in SkyView Software v14.0.0.3486, released 2016-01-13. Changed:
o SERVO CALIBRATION menu renamed to AP SERVO CALIBRATION for clarity.
o AIRCRAFT HEX CODE menu renamed to TRANSPONDER HEX CODE for
clarity.
o Single ADAHRS operation in a multi-ADAHRS system now annunciated in the
message area to be more consistent with other alerts.
Software changes in SkyView Software v14.0.0.3486, released 2016-01-13. Fixed:
o Avidyne IFT540/IFD440 baud rate pre-set was incorrect when set as a
source for ADS-B Out GPS position data (connected directly through the SV-
XPNDR-261 transponder).
o INSTALLED DATABASES > LANGUAGE DATABASES did not display the
installed languages.
o EXTERNAL DISK FREE SPACE on settings/log export menus incorrectly
showed entire disk size, not available space.
o Database handling issues that could cause a display to reboot shortly after
display startup.
o Several issues that could cause a SkyView display to restart.
o Issue that cause Synthetic Vision to be suddenly be too dark.
o ADAHRS audio alerts for individual ADAHRS-based alerts (G-meter,
Overspeed, Altitude Alerter, Minimums, Flaps Overspeed) now suppressed
for an ADAHRS that has failed.
o Enroute charts were not available on displays networked to the display with
the database license as they should be. This primarily affected PocketFMS
enroute charts customers.
o Airport Remarks tab sometimes had text that was obscured by window
elements.
o SkyView displays now have the ability to automatically detect and fix invalid
Dynon Diagnostic Files.
o Issue that could cause a display to report itself as offline immediately after
performing a SkyView Network Configuration.
o Issue that could cause conventional EFIS graphics such as flight director to
display underneath the six-pack version of the attitude indicator.
o If SERIAL IN FUNCTION of a GPS source was changed “GPS FAIL” alerts
would be suppressed until the system was next restarted.
o Audible AOA alerts were not following the on/off setting in the setup menu
(was always on).
o Horizon water line (white line separating ground and sky) now correctly
drawn on the ADAHRS cross-compare screen.
o Upcoming TFRs were being shown as active.
o An issue that could cause the compass calibration routine to report a
successful calibration when in fact the calibration conditions were not
adequate.
o SkyView-to-ForeFlight GPS connectivity now always resumes as it should on
iPad wakeup.
