7.25 IP Interface Commands
An IP address may be used for management access to the ECN330-switch over
the network or to connect the ECN330-switch to existing IP subnets. By default,
there are no IP addresses assigned to the , it uses DHCP to obtain IP settings
for VLAN 247. A default gateway may also need to be established between the
ECN330-switch and management stations that exist on other network segments
(if routing is not enabled).
This section includes commands for configuring IP interfaces, the Address
Resolution Protocol (ARP) and Proxy ARP. These commands are used to
connect subnetworks to the enterprise network.
