General Multicast Routing Commands
This section describes commands used to configure multicast routing globally
on the ECN330-switch.

7.27.1 ip multicast-routing
This command enables IP multicast routing. Use the no form to disable IP
multicast routing.

Command Usage
This command is used to enable multicast routing globally for the router. A
specific multicast routing protocol also needs to be globally enabled using
the router dvmrp (section 7.27.3 on page 1108), router pim dense-
mode (section 7.27.17 on page 1123) or router pim sparse-mode
(section 7.27.28 on page 1136) command, and then the interfaces that will
support multicast routing specified using the ip dvmrp (section 7.27.10 on
