Did the Main blade had a USB ash drive that was removed in Step 1?
If YES:
Connue with next step.
If NO:
Proceed to Step 38.

Insert USB ash drive in the replacement Main blade.
Step 36
Turn the power on at the source and wait for the blade to inialize.
Warning: Aer the blade is powered up, power down within 15 minutes causes database corrupon,
which leads to blade start-up failure and requires a return to factory for reprogramming.
Step 37
Verify that previous OSL and provisioning are restored to Main blade.
Step Result:
Procedure is complete.
Step 38
Is a database backup available for the blade being replaced?
If YES:
Proceed to Restore Conguraon Database and connue with next step.
If NO:
Proceed to Equipment Installaon and connue with next step.
Step 39
Turn the power on at the source and wait for the blade to inialize.
Step 40
Provision the tributary blade equipment.
Command:
> request set-shelfmode shelfid <x> shelfrole TRIB
Step Result:
Procedure is complete.
