Did the Main blade had a USB ash drive that was removed in Step 1?
If YES:
Connue with next step.
If NO:
Proceed to Step 38.
Step 35
Insert USB ash drive in the replacement Main blade.
Step 36
Turn the power on at the source and wait for the blade to inialize.
Warning: Aer the blade is powered up, power down within 15 minutes causes database corrupon,
which leads to blade start-up failure and requires a return to factory for reprogramming.
Step 37
Verify that previous OSL and provisioning are restored to Main blade.
Step Result:
Procedure is complete.
Step 38
Is a database backup available for the blade being replaced?
If YES:
Proceed to Restore Conguraon Database and connue with next step.
If NO:
Proceed to Equipment Installaon and connue with next step.
Step 39
Turn the power on at the source and wait for the blade to inialize.
Step 40
Provision the tributary blade equipment.
Command:
> request set-shelfmode shelfid <x> shelfrole TRIB
Step Result:
Procedure is complete.
