Tray 2 (2nd Paper Cassette)
Taking up Paper–Tray 2 (2nd Paper Cassette)
Power transmits from the transport motor (M2) as follows to take up
paper from the 2nd paper cassette:
1. The transport motor (M2) turns counterclockwise.
2. The idle gear turns clockwise.
3. The 1st cassette paper take-up gear turns counterclockwise.
4. The 1st cassette idle gear turns clockwise and the transport
clutch (CL1) turns ON.
5. Power is transmitted to the 2nd paper cassette.
a. The 2nd cassette paper take-up solenoid (SL21) turns ON.
b. Paper take-up roller turns counterclockwise.
c. Paper is taken up.
