6. Unload or raise the tag axle to prevent it from
hanging unsupported. To do so, open the front
service compartment located on street side and
move the tag axle air valve lever forward as
shown on figure 57.

7. Lift the rear end of the bus high enough to allow
installation of tow cans or blocks underneath the
drive axle wheels (Figure 65).
8. With precaution, lower the rear of bus.
