Inspection
NOTE:
For brake blocks removal see 4A-9.
1) Check the brake pads for wear and uniformity.
2) Check the brake discs for wear, uniformity and deflection
measured with the dial gauge.
NOTE:
If the measured values are above the "service limits",
substitute the corresponding piece.

Brake Liquid (Punto 4.2)

CAUTION:
Brakes liquid can damage car enamel. If liquid fell on
the enamel, clean well immediately.
Inspection
1) Check there are no liquid leaks from the linkages, around
the tank (1), principal cylinder (2) or from the brake pincers
(3). If there are any leaks, act accordingly or substitute the
faulty piece.
2) Check that tubings and sleeves do not rub against metallic
parts which could damage them, otherwise act accordingly.
3) Check the worthiness of the sleeves just in case they have
crevices, deformation or aging; if there is any anomalies
substitute the pieces.
