1A-10 HEATER AND VENTILATION
HEATER UNIT
Removal
Removal glove box
1) Remove steering wheel (see 3C-3).
2) Remove combined drives (see 3C-5).
3) Remove ventilator nozzles (1) and clock (2).
4) Remove hub caps (3), control panel (4) and the levers unit
screws.
5) Remove glove box nuts and fixing clips.

6) Disconnect glove box wiring connections.
7) Remove glove box.
NOTE:
Remove required components to extract the glove box,
to avoid damaging them.
Heater Removal
8) Disconnect drive cable front heater unit (7).
9) Drain the radiator, disconnect water hoses from heater unit
and cover up them.
10) Remove fixing nuts (8) and bolt (9) from heater (7).
11) Remove heater unit.

Instalation
1) Install heater unit reversing removal procedure, noting to
tighten to specified torque.
2) Add refrigerant till reaching the correct level (see 0B-8 under
MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION) and check there are
no leaks with the motor on.
