ON VEHICLE SERVICE
LEAF SPRINGS AND SHOCK ABSORBER
Dampers removal
1) Remove nut (1) and washer (2) fixing shock absorber (3).
2) Release silent blocks (4) from shock absorber.

3) Remove from the lower part of shock absorber:
• nut (5).
• washer (6).
4) Release shock absorber from its connection to spring seat
as well as the silent blocks (7).
Leaf springs removal
5) Install a hydraulic lifter device under the front part of the
vehicle and lift it till front wheel is loose.
6) Remove nuts (8) from “U“ bolt (9) and withdraw fixing spring
seat (10).

7) Remove bolts counter nuts (11) which ensure the bolts
tightening on shackle plates (12).
8) Bring down the vehicle till the wheels rest on the ground
and springs lose contact with axle.
9) Loose screws (11) connecting twin plates to shackle, and
remove the one connecting the shackle plates to leaf spring
and lean the back end of spring on the ground.
WARNING:
Secure the vehicle with trestles in area which that
not interfere with the spring extraction.
