LOWER SHAFT
NOTE:
• All fastening pieces of the steering wheel and the column play a fundamental role, as the could affect the
performance of the essential systems and components, and/or lead to considerable reparse fees. If any piece
requires replacement, it must be substituted by another piece having the same serial replacement number, or
equivalent. Do not use substitutes neither replacement pieces of lesser quality. During reassembling the specified
torques must be strictly applied, to be sure of the correct clamping of the different parts.
• To diagnostic failures on the different components which could bring about anomalous behaviours of the
general steering system, see carefully "CHART OF GENERAL DIAGNOSTICS (3-2-2)".
