Fuel Pressure Sensor
This is fitted in the centre of the hydraulic accumulator (Rail) (1):
its function consists in supplying the control unit with feedback
in order to:
- regulate the injection pressure
- regulate the injection duration
• Terminal between fuel pressure sensor and control unit:
Pin A6 / A13 / A33
• 5 volt supply
Engine Speed Sensor
This is an inductive sensor and is placed on the flywheel (1) rear
face. It generates signals obtained from the lines of magnetic
flow which close through the moulded orifices on the flywheel
itself. Number of orifices: 58.
The control unit uses this signal to measure the engine rotation
speed for determinate angular position and to drive the rev counter.
If this signal is lacking the rev counter will not work.
• Air gap between the sensor and flywheel: 0,8 ÷ 1,5 mm
• Terminals between engine revs and control unit:
Pin A29 / A37
