Electronic control system
The electronic and electric components involved in the electronic control carried out by the control unit, either sending
information to or receiving orders from this, are the following:
1. Electric fuel pump
2. Air-conditioning compressor (if fitted)
4. Engine speed counter
7. Accelerator stroke sensor
8. Brake pedal switches
9. Fuel pressure sensor
11. Coolant temperature sensor
12. Fuel temperature sensor
13. Air temperature sensor
14. Camshaft position sensor
15. Crankshaft position sensor
16. Speedometer
18. Battery
20. Fuel pressure regulator electro-valve
21. Electro-injectors
22. Thermostarter spark plug
23. Thermostarter panel warning light
The control unit controls the amount of fuel injected, regulating the in-line pressure and the duration of the injection.
The information which the control unit receives to calculate the amount of fuel to be injected is:
-engine speed
-refrigerant temperature
- overfeed pressure
-battery tension
-fuel pressure
-accelerator stroke position
-air temperature
