Camshaft speed and stage sensor
This is an inductive sensor and is placed on the rear part of the
camshaft pulled (1).
It generates signals obtained from lines of magnetic flow which
close via the pulled moulding.
The signal generated by this sensor is used by the control unit
as a redundant sensor to measure the different engine regimes.
• Air gap between sensor and camshaft speed:
0,8 ÷ 1,5 mm
• Terminals between camshaft speed sensor and
control unit: Pin A4 / A31

Fuel Temperature Sensor
This is integrated in the fuel filter (1) and measures the fuel
temperature value which it transmits to the control unit.
When the fuel temperature is excessive (external atmospheric
temperature, engine at full load and tank on reserve) the correct
lubrication of the high pressure pump cannot be guaranteed; the
control unit, using the values received, determines fuel the density
and volume. Correcting the delivery and limiting the engine per-
formance.
It is a NTC sensor and its resistance values in function of
temperature are as follows:

Coolant Temperature Sensor
This gives control unit an index of the thermic state of the engine
with the aim of determining the corrections of fuel delivery and
injection pressure.
It is an NTC sensor and its resistance values in function to
temperature are the same as those indicted above for the fuel
temperature sensor.
• Terminals between coolant temperature sensor and
the control unit:
