Replacement
(Mitsubishi turbocharger)
Valve removal
1) Remove clip (10), separate rod (8) from the butterfly valve
lever (9), remove screws (11) and remove limiting valve
assembly.

Valve installation
1) Assemble in reverse order to dismantling, adjusting the valve
lift as indicated in 6C-52.
(KKK turbocharger)
Valve removal
1) Remove dog clamp (12) and nut (3).
2) Remove screws from support (13), disconnect rod (5) from
butterfly valve lever (14) and remove limiting valve assembly
(1).

Valve installation
Install the valve in reverse order to dismantling and regulate in
the following way:
• Thread nut (4) on valve rod (5) to the end.
• Fit lever (14) to rod valve.
• Introduce compressed air into the valve at the correct
pressure, and in this situation, turn nut (3) until the butterfly
valve is positioned snugly in its housing.
• Unscrew nut (4) until it comes into contact with lever (14)
and block nuts (3) and (4).
• Adjust rod valve lift as indicated in 6C-52.
• Next, paint the nuts with safety varnish and fit the safety
dog clamps.
CAUTION:
Before fitting the turbocharger to the engine, it is
necessary to fill the central body with fresh engine
lubricating oil.
