ENGINE REPAIR 6A-61

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF STARTING

MOTOR

Removal

1) Disconnect battery.

2) Disconnect electric leads of starting motor.

3) Remove the three screws (1) and withdraw starting mo-

tor (2).

Installation

1) Reverse removal procedures, apply the specified tightening

torques and those specified in the complementary tasks.

Tightening torque for nuts (1) of starting motor:

4,1 Kg-m (41 Nm)
