7) Remove the servo steering hydraulic pump (15) with its
gasket; remove screws (13) and remove the driving gear (14)
of auxiliary organs group.
8) Remove upper cover (12) with gasket.
Oil pressure regulating valve revision
9) From rear cover (11), unlock cap (18) and spring (19); remove
regulating valve constituted by piston (17) and cylinder (16).
10) Check that piston (17) moves freely in cylinder(16); verify
that piston and cylinder are not scratched and that spring
(19) is not broken, cracked or loose.
11) Check resistance and length of valve spring (19), according
to specifications given in the drawing.
12) Install valve, spring and cap, applying to it specified tightening
torque.
Tightening torque for cap (18) of valve:
6,5 kg-m (65 Nm)
Removal and revision of gears
13) With ruler (B) and thickness calliper(C), check play between
upper plane (21) of gears and upper plane of support of
cover (20), which must be within the specified range.
Otherwise, substitute worn piece.
Play between gears and plane of cover support:
0,065 ÷ 0,131 mm
