7D-24 TRANSFER BOX
Check
1) Check all the components of the main transfer shaft. Look
for possible wear and tear in gears, rods, moveable collets
and interior axle guard.
2) Check the state of the bearings for decay and wear and
tear.
3) Check the state of the triple intermediate gear cog teeth.
Look for possible wear and tear in the gear shaft as well as
the state of the assembly washers and interior bearings.
4) Check the state of the transfer gear cog teeth. Look for
possible wear and tear in the gear bearings.
5) Look for wear and tear of all the components in the front
traction box, as well as for possible deformations of springs,
rods and bearings.
6) Check the state of wear and tear in the high/low shaft and in
zones of contact of the selector rod.
38) Remove support bearing (67) using a soft rod (C), knocking
from inside to out (as shown).
39) Remove exterior ring from the conical bearing of the main
shaft frontal support bearing; from outside to in using the
rod (C) and remove the assembly washers.
