18.6 Communication m600 basic – PC
Fault Cause Solution
The TCP/IP con-
nection between
the m600 basic
and the PC can-
not be estab-
lished
The cable connection between the
m600 basic and the PC or the net-
work has not been installed or has
been incorrectly installed.
Check the cable connection be-
tween the m600 basic and the PC/
network.
The network cable is faulty. Replace the network cable.
The wrong IP address has been
entered.
Check whether the correct IP ad-
dress has been entered. Ask your
network administrator if neces-
sary.
The wrong Gateway address has
been entered.
Check whether the correct Gate-
way address has been entered.
Ask your network administrator if
necessary.
The wrong network mask has
been entered.
Check whether the correct net-
work mask has been entered. Ask
your network administrator if
necessary.
The wrong port has been entered. Check whether the correct port
(standard port is 7) has been en-
tered. Ask your network adminis-
trator if necessary.
Access to the
m600 basic is not
possible via the
Explorer
(\\basicSN).
The network device name is
wrong.
In the Explorer, specify the
network name assigned in the
network settings menu. To this
effect, see Chapter 6.1.4.
18.7 Display
Fault Cause Solution
The display of the
m600 basic is
switched off
The m600 basic screensaver is
active. The display is switched
OFF.
Press any key on the m600 basic
keyboard to switch on the display
again.
The display is faulty. Contact Wolke Service.
The controller was switched OFF
and switched ON again too
quickly.
After switching OFF, wait for min.
10 seconds before you switch the
controller ON again.
The system time
is shown incor-
rectly
The system time has been wrong-
ly set.
Adjust the system time accord-
ingly, see Chapter 6.1 and Chap-
ter 6.1.2.
